Curiosa e delicata, potrebbero essere questi i primi aggettivi per descrivere la nuova sedia che Paolo Rizzato ha progettato per Serralunga. Già, perché nasce da un’intuizione di Paolo guardando in ufficio i classici fermagli metallici da cancelleria. Si può riprodurre una struttura metallica che, sfruttando l’elasticità del materiale, consenta di montare a scatto dei cuscini in plastica? Dallo studio ne è nata una piccola opera d’arte, decisa ma leggera nelle proporzioni, ideale per un ambiente outdoor ma anche indoor. La sedia è pensata in combinazione fra la struttura metallica delle gambe e le forme della componente plastica di sedile e schienale, con la possibilità di far scivolare facilmente l’acqua senza dar luogo a residui o permanenza di gocce. Il foro ovale nello schienale consente inoltre una buona presa per afferrarla e spostarla con facilità.Funzioni

Curious and delicate, these could be the first adjectives to describe the new chair designed by Paolo Rizzato for Serralunga. Born from Paolo ‘s curiosity from observing the classic design of paper clips on his office desk, he wondered if it is possible to create a metallic structure that by exploiting the elasticity of the material allows the metal structure to snap into plastic cushions? From this observation, a small work of art was established, firm but light in proportions, perfect for an outdoor environment, but also indoors. The chair is designed in combination between the metal structure of the legs and the geometric shapes of the plastic seats and seatbacks, the natural curvature facilitates draining and the oval hole in the back allows for a good grip to move it with ease.Functions

Eigenartig und delikat, das sind die ersten Adjektive, die einem zur Beschreibung des neuen Stuhls von Paolo Rizzato für Serralunga in den Sinn kommen. Er entsteht einem Einfall von Paolo, als er im Büro die klassischen Büroklammern aus Metall betrachtete. Kann man eine Metallstruktur nachahmen, die es durch Nutzung der Dehnbarkeit des Materials ermöglicht, Sitzkissen aus Kunststoff einzufügen? Und schließlich ist daraus ein kleines Kunstwerk erwachsen, mit bestimmten, aber leichten Proportionen, ideal zur Outdoor- oder Indoornutzung. Dieser Stuhl ist eine Kombination aus der Metallstruktur der Beine und den Formen der Plastikkomponente von Sitzfläche und Lehne, wobei das Wasser restfrei abfließen kann, ohne Tropfen zu hinterlassen. Durch die ovale Öffnung in der Rückenlehne lässt sich der Sitz außerdem ganz einfach greifen und problemlos verstellen.Funktionen

“Un Dado di semplicità che si specchia nei pavimenti” così Fabio Bortolani definisce il nuovo complemento d’arredo che, insieme ad Ermanno Righi, ha firmato per Serralunga. Un oggetto versatile che a seconda delle finiture si armonizza con i vari ambienti: più basico con la finitura naturale, più sofisticato nella versione laccata. La fessura che è pensata per accogliere libri e riviste, ha un fondo con un piccolo foro che permette all’acqua di passare e al portariviste di stare all’esterno anche tutta l’estate. “Come l’aceto balsamico, lo si può mettere dappertutto, anche sul gelato”, del resto Fabio viene da Spilamberto, e chi meglio di lui conosce l’aceto balsamico.Funzioni

The slot which is designed to accommodate books and magazines has a small outlet that allows water to pass through it so this magazine rack can stay outdoors all of summer... “Like balsamic vinegar, you can put it everywhere, even on ice cream”, Fabio comes from Spilamberto, and who knows balsamic vinegar better than someone from Spilamberto?Functions

“Ein einfacher Würfel, der sich im Boden widerspiegelt” so definiert Fabio Bortolani dieses neue Einrichtungselement, das er gemeinsam mit Ermanno Righi für Serralunga entworfen hat. Ein vielseitiger Gegenstand, der sich je nach Oberflächenausführung in verschiedene Räumlichkeiten einfügt: Schlicht mit natürlicher Oberflächenbehandlung, gehobener in der lackierten Ausführung. Der Schlitz dient als Ablage für Bücher oder Zeitschriften, das Wasser kann durch eine kleine Öffnung an der Unterseite abfließen, wodurch man das Objekt auch den ganzen Sommer über im Freien lassen kann. “Wie Balsamessig kann man es sich überall vorstellen, sogar auf dem Eis”, denn schließlich stammt Fabio aus Spilamberto, wer also könnte sich besser mit Balsamessig auskennen, als er selbst.Funktionen

L’ultima creazione per Serralunga è un omaggio alla tradizione scultorea che ha contraddistinto i vasi storici dell’azienda di Biella. L’emergente ma già pluripremiata designer Katja Petterson ha realizzato per Serralunga un vaso per piante davvero anticonvenzionale. Ispirandosi alla riciclabilità dei prodotti Serralunga, in quanto la maggior parte sono realizzati in polipropilene, Katja ha sviluppato un progetto che prevede il recupero della gomma dai pneumatici dismessi, tuttora di difficile smaltimento. Ne è nato un oggetto insolito, alternativo e capace di suscitare curiosità. La gomma viene utilizzata per creare un manto che ricopre la vasca di contenimento per terra e radici, e l’effetto visivo che richiama l’humus è molto artistico ed originale.Funzioni

The emerging but already award-winning designer Katja Pettersson has created a vase for Serralunga exceptionally unconventional. Inspired by the ‘recyclability’ of the Serralunga products, as the majority are made of polypropylene, Katja has developed a design which utilises the recovery of rubber from inner tyre-tubes which is comprised of 92% recyled materials. The result is an unusual object, alternative and capable of arousing curiosity. The rubber material is used as a cover that conceals the container underneath holding the plant and soil, and creates a visual effect similar to that of piled earth or waste. Die aufstrebende, bereits mehrfach preisgekrönte Designerin Katja Petterson hat für Serralunga einen wirklich neuartigen Pflanzentopf entworfen.Katja setzt in erster Linie auf die Wiederverwertbarkeit der Serralunga Produkte, die großenteils aus Polypropylen bestehen, und hat ein Projekt entwickelt, das die Wiederverwertung des Gummis von Altreifen vorsieht, die sich normalerweise nur schwer entsorgen lassen. So ist ein ungewöhnliches, alternatives und Aufsehen erregendes Projekt entstanden. Der Gummi wird wiederverwendet, um eine Ummantelung zu bilden, die Erde und Wurzeln umschließt. Der optische, an Humus erinnernde Effekt verleiht dem ganzen einen künstlerischen, originellen Touch.Funktionen
